NEW ORLEANS — The Gulf of Mexico oil disaster feels far worse to shrimper Ricky Robin than Katrina, even though he's still haunted by memories of riding out the hurricane on his trawler and of his father's suicide in the storm's aftermath.

Linda, I have so many thoughts on this lately, and I just haven't had the time to sit down and write about it all. The whole world is changing, and this is just the beginning.

When we did not fear our own government......... we banned together and hit the streets, this was like salve for the soul.

Now, many hide and commiserate alone.......... step out, and make yourself and your feelings known, and organize the fashion in which you heal not only yourself, but yoru world.

be smart.
